Prepare your site

Use a staging site and take a backup. The package declares WordPress 6.3+, PHP 8.1+, and WooCommerce 7.0+. WooCommerce must be active.

Install the ZIP

In Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the downloaded ZIP, install, and activate it.

Configure the button

Go to WooCommerce → WhatsApp Button. Enter your international phone number using digits only. Set the label and message template. Available product placeholders are described beside the message setting.

Choose placement

Place the button before or after Add to Cart, or after the product summary. Choose whether to display the icon and open the conversation in a new tab.

Test before launch

Open a simple product, then a variable product. Select a variation and confirm the WhatsApp message includes the right details. Check both desktop and a phone.

Free and premium controls

The core button works without a license. Advanced color and product visibility controls require a separate premium license. This free listing does not include premium entitlement.

Troubleshooting

The button does not appear

Confirm WooCommerce and WhatsApp for WooCommerce are active. Check the phone number and placement setting, then test a published product in a private browser window after clearing page cache.

The message shows the wrong variation

Select a complete variation before opening WhatsApp. If the message still does not update, test on staging with a standard WooCommerce product template and check for JavaScript errors or conflicting product-page customizations.

Premium settings are locked

This free download includes the core conversation button and message controls. It does not include a premium license. Contact support before buying or enabling any separately licensed functionality.

Version information

The current package is version 1.0.0. It includes the product conversation button, configurable messages, placement controls, and variation-aware message updates. Back up your site and test future updates on staging before updating production.
