Merdavia Clinical Academy needed a learning experience that could serve people with different roles and starting points. Course prerequisites, resources and required activities had to be easy to find, on both desktop and mobile.

The challenge

A professional training catalog can be difficult to navigate when every program has different entry requirements and assessment steps. Learners need to see which pathway applies to them, what they must complete first and how to return to unfinished work.

Administrators also need a consistent course layout so new materials can be added without creating a different structure for every program.

WooCrafters structured the LearnDash training portal around distinct learning pathways and a shared course layout. Program pages explain the intended audience, prerequisites, outcomes and assessments before a learner begins.

Programs are grouped by the learner needs they address. Each program page gives prerequisites and expected activities a consistent position, helping visitors identify an appropriate starting point.

Lessons, assessments and progress

Protected lessons, topic resources, quizzes and completion rules sit within the LearnDash workflow. A learner dashboard distinguishes active courses and outstanding activities so returning learners can pick up where they left off.

A maintainable course system

Reusable WordPress templates and ACF fields let administrators update course information without editing the underlying layout. The same content structure can support new programs as the catalog grows.
